Felix Walden, Jr.

Felix ( Bubba ) Walden, Jr. , 60, entered into rest on Friday, October 5, 2018 while celebrating his 34th Wedding Anniversary in New Orleans, LA.

He was born in Savannah, Georgia August 19, 1958,   the son of Edith F. and Felix Walden, Sr. 

He attended the public schools of the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education and was a graduate of Windsor Forest High School.

Felix was a faithful member of St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church where he served in the Knights of Columbus Council 10274 and a Male Youth Advisor.

He was a retired Machine Operator at Georgia Pacific Corporation ( Rincon, GA ) for over 30 years.

Felix was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Julia Walden.


Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Rosemary Taylor Walden, one son, Matthew F. Walden, one daughter, Taylor A. Walden, one sister, Wilhelmina ( Robert )  Merchinson, one brother, Danny L. ( Tina ) Walden,  two special devoted nephews, Isaiah Walden and Christopher Taylor, a special niece, Sally Walden, Mother-in-law, Catherine Taylor, a sister - in law, Vivian ( Ericdwen ) Devore, three brothers-in-law, Russell ( Laverne ) Taylor, Rodney ( Phyllis ) Taylor, and Roosevelt Taylor, aunts, Esther Scott, Bertha Williams, Ethel Zeigler, Dorothy White, Shirley Frazier, Vivian Fennell, Mary Lee Milton, Lois Shuler and Daisy McCord, uncle, Herman ( Ella ) Taylor, Sr., Johnny White, Wayman White,  Coley White and Jimmy White, Godmother, Margaret Westin, a Godson, Akande Aidon  Oladele, a host of other nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends.

Rosary 6 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the church.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 Friday, October 12, 2018 at

St. Benedict The Moor Catholic Church

441 E. Broad St. ~ Savannah, GA

Interment ~ Lovett Hill Cemetery (Hiltonia, GA)
