Deacon Spencer Ellis White, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 01, 2018 at Hospice Savannah, INC. surrounded by his loving family.
He was a native of Savannah, GA.
He attended the public schools of Chatham County and a graduate of Beach-Cuyler High School Class of 1949 and a 1953 graduate of North Carolina A&T University with a B.A. Business Administration.
He was a faithful member of First Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board, former Superintendant of The Sunday School, the Brotherhood Ministry, sang in the Male Chorus and the Historical Committee of the church.
He was also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Thomasina C. White, two sons, Spencer E. White, III of Savannah, GA and Michael A. White, Sr. of Honolulu, HI, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Funeral services 12 noon Saturday, December 8, 2018 at First Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 310 Alice Street. The Rev. Andre Osborne, Officiating.
